Mike was born and raised in Long Island, New York and currently resides in New Jersey. After spending over 30 years in corporate America, Mike decided to actively pursue his love of painting. He is a self-taught artist but continues to attend workshops and classes to fine-tune his skills.
Ultimately, his goal is to bring the viewer into the painting and hopefully instill in them the same sense of tranquility he had during the painting experience. The biggest compliment is when someone views one of his works and says “I feel like I am there.". https://thefineartofmikedziomba.com

Jack Quinn is a nationally recognized fine art painter and national award winning sculptor and wood craftsman. He has always been painting and building but has recently combined both disciplines in a new series of art works using wood panels -- creating unique paintings and sculpture with acrylic/oil paints, sculpting materials and fine hardwood. Many of these paintings utilize the grain of the wood as a design element. These award winning pieces are one of a kind originals with subject matter ranging from pure abstracts to tight realistic landscapes -- and everything in between. http://jackquinnart.com
My artistic journey started at a young age, growing up in an artistic family, I always had a brush, crayon or pencil in my hand and music in the background. My career choice took me in a different direction and I didn't pick up those beloved crayons until retirement. As a new beginner I turned to realistic subject matter using watercolor. Over time, painting everyday, the boundaries of realism were no longer challenging or exciting for me. Currently abstraction and acrylic mediums bring me the most satisfaction and enjoyment, always presenting unknown and surprising outcomes. The freedom of abstract painting allows me to be open to experimentation and to welcome the unexpected. https://www.jinniemay.com

Sally Quinn lives in New Vernon and is an avid gardener, reader and decorator. She has been interested in art her whole life but restarted painting after much talk resulted in her husband buying an art kit for Christmas last year! As a native Vermonter and a current part-time resident of Lake Placid, she loves everything related to those areas and that is reflected in her work. This is her first foray into public showing!
Born and raised in NJ, we moved to New Vernon in 1981. I have tried almost every medium and eventually found oil paints as my favorite and have focused my work on oils for the last 30 years.
A graduate of Syracuse University with two degrees: one in Graphic Art from the School of Journalism and one Applied Arts from the School of Humanities. I continued artistic study at the School of Visual Arts.
I’ve studied with Lee Hughes, S.Allyn Schaeffer, David Douglas, Hank Feeley and John Traynor.
Plein Air is my favorite style - there is nothing that makes me happier than capturing the freedom of a beautiful sunrise or sunset or the changing seasons…Our family has restored the 250 year old “Harrison House” at 17 Village Road, in the Historic Business district of New Vernon. Now called "Great Brook Gallery,” you can find me there painting most afternoons. Stop in and say Hi. New art arrives daily. https://greatbrookgallery.com/artist/justine-reneau-perdunn-kovacs/
After growing up in Newburgh, NY, I started my art career seeing life through a lens. I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising Design/Photography. Though I’ve recently spent much of my creative time working in pastel and oils, my photography background has had a strong influence on the lighting and compositions of my paintings. I have been drawn to scenes that show a quiet place, serene and sometimes ethereal, that comes from my love of nature and my admiration of the beauty all around us.
My recent work often features birds or animals incorporated into a landscape. I can spend hours watching the waves and seagulls on the beach. I continue to exhibit frequently in indoor and outdoor shows in the Tri-State area and many of my paintings, fiber art and photographs are in private collections. Two of my images featuring animals were in national art magazines in 2017 – Pastel Journal’s Pastel 100 and The Artist’s Magazine Competition Spotlight April 2017. Images of my work and current exhibitions can be seen on my website. https://www.paulapearlart.com/home
"the paintings are all reminiscent of lazy summer days, lots of color, lots of attitude and a straight line is hard to find""her paintings are all different happy, and full of musical meaning"
in mid life, after coaching high school field hockey, i took up painting.starting with pastel portraits of children.....house portraits....then dog portraits. having spent my childhood summers down at the shore, i had to create large colorful paintings of the ocean!
"tine paints with brilliant, potent colors, brushed with strength and life as the painted images are intended to dance and sway with rhythmic color and emotion in celebration of the joy of life....with a touch of humor"
Karen has been in love with art since childhood. In 2002 following a successful business career, she turned her energies to painting and hasn’t looked back. Over the years she has taken classes and workshops with some of the finest painters in the region along with nationally acclaimed masters. Karen’s paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions and are included in private art collections across the country and Canada.
Constantly inspired by the world around her, Karen captures the moods and colors of nature predominantly with oil paints. Painting in her studio as well as en plein air, she finds inspiration everywhere from grand vistas to small vignettes. When translating these images to her canvas, her goal is to capture those qualities of her subjects that are most timeless and mood inspiring and sometimes playful. But it is the light, the patterns, moods and colors it creates that is at the heart of her art. Karen finds the infinite possibilities of painting to be a source of joy and constant revelation.
